As many of you will have noticed, I for the past 15 months, I have been focused on publishing e-books with a focus on politics, the changes that we need and how things could work for everyone – both politically and in everyday life, so that life can be improved and be a lot better, fairer, balanced and just, for us all.
With my last book ‘Officially NONE OF THE ABOVE’, published in May, I thought that I’d probably reached a point where it would be a good time to have a rest.
As the current affairs junkie that I am, I then noticed just how much discussion and concern that there is about AI, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and everything of this technical genre that seems to be finding its way into our digital lives overnight.
The purely mechanical or physically engineered side of this new tech is not something that I am overly concerned about, as all advances have the ability to do humanity a lot of good. However, the ethics, morality and governance that sits behind it – or rather the rules and regulations that simply don’t exist – certainly do.
The lack of clear and meaningful guidance from a genuinely independent standpoint and the reality that Politicians look set to relive all the same errors of leadership and consideration for their responsibilities that they have made so many times before, should be of concern to us all.
With this in mind, I’ve put together another short e-book called ‘Actions Speak Louder than Digital Words’, which runs through the realities of the part that AI is already playing within our lives, and where on this current trajectory, everything is about to go – a lot more quickly than anyone expects.
The Book also includes some action points that we can all follow if we genuinely want to remain conscious of the part AI is playing in our lives everyday and how we are being manipulatively reconditioned to accept it, how we can limit its affect, and how we can remove it entirely from our use – If that should be what we want to do.
